Brett Olson is a printmaker, originally from the quiet woods of Wisconsin, living and working presently in NYC. Presently, her work explores tensions that arise from fragments of memory and the forms of self-censored, accumulated, handwritten and printed text. Her curatorial work includes assisting on the shows To Have and To Hold (2024), Towards a Warm Embrace (2023), and Pedagogy and Propaganda (2023) at the Perlman Teaching Museum. She is a graduate of Carleton College, where she studied Art History and Studio Art with a focus in contemporary performance art and film.
